The Digital Accelerate - Penalising Piracy: Amendments to the Cinematograph Act

The Indian film industry has time and again cited piracy as a predominant challenge to its growth. With increased access to mobile phones and availability of reliable and high-speed internet connectivity, film piracy or unauthorised duplication of copyrighted content has become much easier.
